How do you call back about a resume/job application without annoying people?

k so I’m in a desperate need of a job…and the couple of places that I have called back, act like I’m annoying them but I ask very respectfully about my resume/application and say that I hope they will consider me.
I mean I just don’t know what to do. I’ve given up about following up on my application and just submit them now, hoping someone will call me….

goodness, don’t listen to the internet scams.
and us for your apps, just be very respectful and don’t call everyday. ask one day, then wait a couple days, then ask again. as long as your respectful, I think calling back is always a good thing, it shows the people that you are really interested and eager to work!
just remember be respectful and patient and you’ll find a job!
calling back can actually irritate bosses, especially, if they are very stressed, so be very careful with that. Dropping them a hand written note is better in some cases
