Its been a long time since I had to apply formally for a job. I’ve found that things have changed since my last successful application, things like cover letters.
What do you put on a cover letter?
Should it be short & sweet or lengthy & detailed?
Should it be personalised to each individual employer that i apply to?
Or should I make it job specific & use it with all applications for similar jobs?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
