    How is it stupid? The person interviewing has taken time out and will probably be interviewing loads of people for one job. A thank you note is courteous and would probably make a candidate stand out.

    The whole idea (of writing thank you notes on the spot and leaving them with the receptionist on the way out) is so new and surprising to me that I don’t know what to think.
