Internal job resume vs. a regular one?

I have sent an internal job posting for the bank I work for and the manger has asked me for an updated resume. Would it be better to give her a resume reflecting my time at the company or my entire work history? I’m having a really difficult time with this. I think it might just be because I don’t feel that my work history outside the company is relevant. At the same time I don’t want her to look at it and wonder why I didn’t provide everything. Maybe I’m over thinking this. Also, what does an internal resume include? I have tried looking for templates and can only find regular resume templates. (sorry, I’m a little nervous)

Provide your internal updated resume. Depending on the size of your company, if they have an on-line HR system that allows each employee to maintain their resume then you should update it on there and also send a PDF document in Word format to the manager.
