When writing a resume, how many bullet points are ideal under a job? Should it be the same number for each?

Is four or five too many? Is one too few? It seems I have more to say about some jobs than others.

Four or five is fine. It seems like you should be able to come up with more than one for each job. Generally, your more recent employment with have more bullets than older things. Really the longer you’ve been away from a job, the less important it tends to be.

I don’t think there is an exact number and they don’t have to be the same number for every job. One thing you don’t want to be is mundane–so use catchy, but meaningful, words to described your accomplishments–emphasize what you can do for the new company based on the job qualifications it is looking for. Good luck.
