Can I get unemployment for not being able to find a job?

I have not been able to find a job for several months since my last job (which I was laid-off, it was seasonal). I’ve applied to well-over 20 different locations (near my home and my girlfriend’s) and I have not received a single call or email about any of them. I’ve tried applying for unemployment based on my previous jobs, but I did not work for long enough (all seasonal jobs, because of where I live). What can I do!

Yikes, well It all depends why you left your previous job. If you were fired then it all depends for what and if it was for leaving on good terms, yes you can file for unemployment. You should really file with DES as soon as you can so you can get the process going. Good Luck to you on your job search.
