It’s vital to have a good resume, it is worth taking the time to write something that looks brilliant and does the job right. The resource in the box below has loads of data on resumes and assistance with extra vocations.

    I wouldn’t.

Include more recent experiences/education if possible. If you’re finding it hard to get those lists to look “substantial”, add in a section which states your personality traits and non-academic skills you may have that are relevant to the hob.

Imagine yourself checking out at a counter of a supermarket — what sort of a cashier would you like to be attending to you?

    Efficient? Polite? Friendly?

Then ask yourself if you have these qualities. If you do, include it.

Be honest though — lying on a resume never helps anyone.

Email me at if you have any other resume questions. I’ll be happy to help.

Hope this has cleared your doubts a little:)
