Finding one of these online companies is as easy as using an Internet search engine to find web sites that specializes in “background checks.” Employers should beware of companies advertising on the Internet that they can “find everything about anyone.” They are not necessarily going to be in strict compliance with federal and state laws, especially the provisions that require accuracy of background check reports.
