What is the best format for a job resume?

Human Resources/hiring managers, bosses, managers, etc. I want to make a resume but I don’t want it to suck. What is a good format? Sources are appreciated if not able to show below. I know there are several good types, but I want to go with something creative that will stand out when someone is thumbing through. Thanks.

Depends on if you have lots of experience or not. I like a functional resume because you can highlight your skills, talents, and abilities; instead of just a list of places you worked and how long you were there. The main thing is to transfer your skills, talents, and abilities, to what the prospective employees wants.
Remember that now employers are using software to scan resumes and if not, the first human scan of your resume is about 5 seconds long. Not long to make a first impression. You must match the employer’s needs and your abilities. Hope this hleps

I have seen many resume formats.
Many of the SUCCESSFUL ones I have published tended to focus on the specific job title. This “TARGETED Resume” focuses on how each of your previous jobs leads to this (your targeted) position.

In aim toward your MANAGERIAL positions you list, I recommend using a Targeted resume that focuses on how you progressed through each of your previous positions by learning from each leadership style.

Do EXTENSIVE Research on the company with whom you have this(?) interview %who is *the Top Brass* / who is the next person who makes the decisions for your planned department, who is the person that you will be replacing, what successful codes / ethics did they use and how will you improve or follow through with their syles and ideas. – Explain your research in your Cover letter along with your resume. Try to e-x-p-a-n-d in the cover letter your availability to grow in the company “wherever your talents can be best used” so your ap. will not end up in their FILE 13.

    GOOD LUCK!
