Only if you work off the books or under the counter. If you get a regular job, even part time, you risk losing your unemployment. If you don’t earn much, you may be able to keep a reduced unemployment but you’ll need to check with the state employment office to find out. You may be able to find out on-line at their web site.
You might be able to do this but only to a certain income level. To discover the max income you can legally reach you should call the California Unemployment Phone number. They can give you all the latest unemployment income limits for this particular year.
Uh oh, did you get laid off? I’m afriad of that too. I think you can though, as long as you’re off the books.
