The job might see someone as illiterate if they have many writing/grammatical errors and lots of jobs are looking for good writers or at least there are better opportunities for them. So I think it kinda affects the person a lot. Im only 14 but, using common sense, I can infer that it is a big deal.
A resumé is your main chance at telling everyone how good you are and how good a job you will do. You can spend hours and hours honing it to perfection. If, after all that, there are spelling errors and grammatical mistakes then it doesn’t suggest you’ve done a good job.
Errors in a resume’ usually show an employee’s effort, patience, and attention to detail. If you can slop up a brief description of yourself, then you’ll probably slop up the job.
