I have a job interview coming up soon and I have been asked to put together a 10-15 minute presentation.?

I need to put together a “live” resume via PowerPoint and present it to the panel during the first 15 minutes of the interview. Any advice? Are there any websites that show sample powerpoint “live” resume presentations? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually Microsoft has some decent, free tutorials on their site. You can also get good advice just going to “help” in PowerPoint.

My advice: keep it simple and honest. Don’t try to overdo it. Don’t try to be too fancy (unless it’s a graphic design position).

Wow – I have never heard of this sort of thing! I would try to make the presentation very professional; not all flashy with graphics. Use a consistent slide transition theme – it is difficult to watch a presentation that has a different transition for each slide. You could check on microsoft.com for office templates, there might be a powerpoint resume template. Good luck!!
