What is the job/career called for 3d animation?

What is the job/career called for 3d animation, like the people that work on computers and create the 3d charaters like in Pixar movies or the robots from Transformers, and animate them?
SAME GOES FOR GAMES.

Games—-”Game Designer”. Like the name say they design the game (ex. create the character and etc).

Games—”Game programmer” they program the game (not 3D, using a program language usually)

    Animation—Cartoonist (draw cartoons and etc)

Animation—3D modeler (model in 3D, similar to games, but game modeler have limitations to the number of poly’s they allow to use, them they basically aim for a more..natural model…lots of details)

Animation—Texture artist (like the name say)

    Animation—Lighting artist

Animation—Rigger (essentially “rig” or make sure the character and stuff is ready to be animate, such as adding bones and etc)

    Animation—Animator (usually animate things around)

Animation–3D artist (work in anything in 3D…i suppose)

    Ummmm Maybe

Animation—Compositor ( composite final shots, or basically Visual effects, such as an explosion)

Animation—Special FX artist (do special effects and etc.)

Animation–Programmer (well they work on the more technical part of things, such as plug-ins, scrips and etc.)

At times one artist does everything, from modeling to final compositing and etc.
