Can you get unemployment if i leave a job that pays only on commission?

I have just been laid off and am thinking of taking a new job as a claim processor that pays strictly on how many claims I process daily. If the amount of work drops so much that I can’t make enough money can I get unemployment for leaving that job?
I am in Illinois

Depends on what state you are in. Probably not if you are commission only. You need to see if you receive a 1099 or a W-2.
