Learn HOW TO WRITE A RESUME : HOW TO WRITE A COVER LETTER : HOW TO LAND A JOB
How do I put my current job on my resume when I do not have a specific position?

I work at a bakery/deli and I do not have a specific job title, I just do whatever needs to be done. How could I list this on my resume?

Your job title sounds like ‘General Assistant’. Describe it for what you did, explain to your prospective new manager that no one ever gave you a specific title for the job.

How about one of the following:

    Bakers Assistant
    Bakery & Deli Assistant
Bakery & Pastry Associate (probably my favorite listed here)
    Pastry Assistant

I would also recommend searching on the internet or the company’s website for a job description. Since you practically do everything, I would search for a few (like customer service, baker, pastry chef, cashier, deli prep, sandwich artist) and pick and chose some lines from each one that pertains to your job.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

    Just make up something.

    Honestly, they really don’t care.
They’re only gonna check to see
if you were a good worker.
If they even check at all.

    good luck
