The company asks for resumes and cover letters online, but doesnt have any specific person for whom to address in the cover letter. This is a company with nationwide locations. I wasnt sure how to go about addressing someone specific if none is listed. Could ya’ll please offer some tips? Thank you very much.

on their website, have they got a contact number by any chance…you could ring, tell them the job youre applying to and ask who best to address it to.
If you really cant find out who, then address it to the ‘hiring manager’ so at least it should be read by the correct person
In addressing the cover letter. I would put to whom it may concern., then briefly describe yourself. In doing so address the position for which you are applying for. Express how you would be a great asset to the company. I would close out the letter on a positive note as if you have already been hired for the job. Close your letter saying looking to talk to you soon. Make sure to leave your name ,of course and all possible ways to get in touch with you., all phone numbers-house and cell, a professional sounding email address-yahoo does them for free. If you need more assistance I’d be glad to help.
