What happens to my Unemployment benefits when I start an unpaid training for a job?

Living in Missouri, what happens to my Missouri Unemployment benefits when I start training for a job that I have NOT officially been given that job.

    Your benefits stop. As soon as you are no longer looking for a permanent job, your benefits will end.

    In the state of NJ at least, you can still collect, just because you are training/”learning” to do a job your benefits do not stop.. BUT you must inform them you are currently in school/training. It’s not a bad thing to be learning things. But fact of the matter is.. your still not getting money from a job.

    Call your unemployment office up and just ask if i start classes to train me for a new job.. can i still collect unemployment because i’m not getting paid.. Odds are high that they will say yes.

    It depends on your current situation, job status, qualification.. I heard that it differs slightly per eash state. I hink the best way is to call the unemployment office and find out exactly what the specific would be…
