    There are some web sites that are much better for specific industries, seniority level and location.

    Well if you’ve ever been unemployed, they require you to register on:

    http://www.caljobs.ca.gov/

    I like the website because it’s lists jobs both within the State employment system and throughout. You can search jobs in your county for all types of fields.

    Go to your local unemployment office and ask for all the brochures on Work Net, Listings of current employment opportunities, etc. They have brochures with various websites that are helpful.
