Learn HOW TO WRITE A RESUME : HOW TO WRITE A COVER LETTER : HOW TO LAND A JOB
I am faxing my resume to a company where I am applying for a job. What do I need to put on my cover letter?

It is an entry level job. I don’t have very much experience, and I want to make it as short as possible, and still have it be a good cover letter. What should I put on my cover letter?

when I faxed my resume I just put the name of the Human Resources Personel that was in charge of hiring! If your resume is formatted right, they’ll know what it is, and who’s resume it is.

Simply indicate who you are, purpose of your fax and a summary of your skills, and thank them, you’re right keep it short.

E.g. Dear XXX, I am XXX, I’m witting to apply for position XXX, I have X years of experience in XXX, thank you for your time and consideration.

Go get that job gal, best of luck! :)
