How to update a Resume and add volunteer work and Board Member work.?

Resumes, are there easy samples on line to follow, or can someone help me update mine?
Resumes have changed so much during the years. I have had the same job for 25 years and added on an additional job. But I am the PTA president and a member of the School Board and they need an updated one. Most of their resumes show volunteer work, time served as a Board Member and also was told that I have been serving as a PTA president . Help!!! There must be an easy format. I have to get this updated fast.

There are so many templates and examples of resumes on line at your disposal. You just need to look through them and decide on a template that best suits your need. Whatever Word or WordPerfect typing program your computer has, there are already built-in templates.

The final portion of your resume should list ADDITIONAL INFOMRATION. Under this section, this is where you list your time spent as Board Member, PTA member/President, voluneteering services, etc. This information doesn’t need to be as wordy, as being a Board Member & PTA President are rather self-explanatory. Should a potential employer question you about your time served, then you can discuss your duties in great detail.

I just updated mine, and it is just under 2 pages.

    Good luck!
