A job I’d like to apply for is requesting a cover letter, resume, and a writing sample. However, it doesn’t specify on length or topic. What should I submit as a writing sample??

    Well, it never hurts to suck up a little, maybe you could write about why you want the job, or what would make you a good candidate. Just be sure to keep it simple, and don’t get too sappy with it.
