Should people with disability be sent to the same job search place as non disability people?

In Australia we had places that look for jobs for the unemployed without disability and others that look for jobs for people with disabilities.
They have about 3 years to find you a job and after that time you get sent to another one and start from ground zero again.
I am not sure what rules they have now as they change them one year to the next.

Isn’t there a an office you can contact to deal with your question? A state or government run agency that can address your issue?

Probably not. A disabled person most likely needs more specialized help to find a job and when the places are separate the more qualified people are hopefully helping the people with disabilities. But than again, it is segregation and there may be job opportunities that the “specialized” job searchers may not become aware of. So you should probably have a choice.

In the US, we have a law called the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). This law prohibits any discrimination toward people with disabilities. Applications for jobs are not permitted to ask whether you have a disability. You must be hired based on your qualifications. If you are selected for the job, based on your qualifications, the employer must provide any necessary “accommodations” that will enable you to do the job, in other words, special equipment like computer software that will give you “access”.
