Is a resume better with pictures on it?

i put some pictures on my resume of my before and after samples of my work. Was this a good idea? (i got the job, but was just wondering if it was actually a good idea)
i do a job where i brush weeds around little trees in forestry cutblocks. the weds are 3-10 feet tall and the before picture looks like its a weeed jungle, and the after picture looks like every single weed os cut down. its pretty cool. anyhow the area of the cut weeds was about 1 hectare. the idea behind it was to show the guy that my owrk is thourogh adn done properly.

depends on what you do. can you better define that for us?

Edit: I asked you that because in a corporate atmosphere a picture on your resume wouldn’t be appropriate. But after seeing what you do, I think it is appropriate to say a photo of your work is available should they desire one. Since it worked with you getting that job, then I’d say yes to putting one in with your resume. It worked… this time. Next time I would just do “upon request” to be safe, however. Congrats on getting the job!

    Good question.

You did a good thing. It showed the interviewer a
    sample of your work.
