		<description>Dear Hiring Manager:

I am writing in response to the position of Senior Project Manager, advertised as being open with your company at this time. I am an experienced Telecommunications Project Management and Support professional, who is skilled in directing fiber optic and switching projects both in the U.S. and overseas, as well as managing technical support for global networks. Now I would like to bring my extensive expertise and knowledge to your company.

My ability to work as a team player, meet deadlines and go the extra mile, together with my penchant for detail, have contributed to my successes in project management. I have performed and directed a wide variety of activities, including overseeing the development and completion of large-telecommunications projects and providing network, fiber optic, and other telecommunications technical support in the U.S., Europe, Hong Kong, and other areas. I am adept at working with clients to determine needs and requirements, and am highly familiar with all organizational and financial aspects of project management as well.

I am an effective organizer and planner. My outgoing and friendly nature allows me to interact well with other staff members at all levels and I pride myself on bringing the right measure of enthusiasm into the equation. In addition, I possess multiple certifications and have well-developed technical, training, negotiation, and client management skills. I am willing to travel.

The accompanying résumé can give you an idea of my potential for making a worthwhile contribution to your company. I believe it may be mutually beneficial for us to meet. I will call your office next week to inquire about the possibility of such a meeting.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely yours,

<description>I found that when you are working as a non-degreed professional, in a normally degreed industry that the &quot;you want, I have&quot; format of cover letter works best.

Dear Mr. Hiring Manager (make sure you spell correctly, call reception and ask them-they will almost always give it to you)

In response to your posting on Careerbuilder.com for a Project Manager, please find my resume attached.

In your ad you stated that you were looking for an ambitious project manager with direct experience in XXX. As you can see by my resume, I have over 3 years experience in XXXX. Additionally you are looking for YYYY, again, I have 3 years in YYYY.

Although I do not possess a bachelors degree in XXX, I do have X credit hours and the equivalent experience that would allow me to hit the ground running and after researching your company I am excited for the opportunity to learn more about XYZ.

You will find that my experience is directly related to your opening and upon request I would love for you to speak with my former supervisors/clients about the quality of work I can produce.

If I do not hear from you first, I will give you a call on Thursday afternoon to further discuss your needs and how I could assist XYZ company in their future endeavors.

Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to speaking with you,
