Did you ask them why they want to see it? The only thing I can think of is that is their way of verifying employment but really, all they have to do is call where you used to work to verify it. Potential employers should not be asking to see previous payslips - at least not in North America. I'm not sure about anywhere else in the world where employment practices are more dubious. If they don't ask for it, don't offer to show it. It has nothing to do with your abilities for the current job. There are no secrets there about your previous employer. That being said, I have never heard of an employer wanting to see check stubs from a previous job. That's odd.
