		<description>If you&#039;ve had anything published, that&#039;s a writing sample - anything from your college newspaper, for instance. The length doesn&#039;t really matter; just the quality of your writing. They want to know how well you write, what your &quot;voice&quot; is like. If you haven&#039;t published anything yet (although I&#039;m guessing you have), now&#039;s the time to find an outlet - a community newspaper, a nonprofit you believe in, for instance. 

Re one of the other responses - this has nothing to do with the resume; it&#039;s a whole separate element of the application process.</description>
