What do I head the section of my resume labeled “Job Experience” if I have none?

I have no job experience, but I need to write a resume for a summer internship. I do have one volunteer experience that I can kind of fit into a section like that, but I don’t want to highlight my lack of job experience by heading it “Related Employment” or something like that, so what should I just write “Related Experience”? or “Related Volunteer Experience”?

As you suggested, I would re-label the section “Related Experience”

A resume doesn’t really have to have a Job Experience section as long as the resume lists your qualifications and does the best job selling you that it can.

    Clean Slate …
Rather than make it a negative – I have never worked in this area before … make it a positive:
You will get to teach me the way you want the job done, without having to wait for me to “unlearn” someone else’s mistakes!

Every employer knows we all start with nothing as related experience. Related experience or related Volunteer experience is perfect.

This is where allot of people make mistakes. Have you ever baby sat kids? This is management experience and problem solving in ‘crisis situations’. Don’t count yourself short. You have problem solving skills when you juggle how to go to the mall and watch a little brother when you take him with you and have him hang out 15′ from you. Be creative in your thought process, but don’t go overboard. This works until you can list regular type jobs also.
